When PDF files fail, it's often from missing fonts. I've noticed
that Acro for W*****s lacks some of the fonts commonly found on Unix
systems.
If this is your problem, it's a flaw in the Acrobation process.
The Acrobator ought to include all font definitions in the PDF file.
Of course the cause could be something completely different. What
was your error message?
