I agree completely. It would be so helpful if there would be one MikTeX package with all the relevant preprocessors, documentation, and add-ons needed for lyrics and slurs put together. The biggest problem, though, is that there does not seem to exist an introductory tutorial in English, providing some simple examples how to work with pmx and MusiXTeX. The M-Tx documentation is the only documentation that seems to adress these needs.
