Many thanks for your help. It ist much clearer now what to do. I am
alreacy using OzTeX as TeX driver so I had to learn that musixflx is a
terminal application. Doing some first experiments with the example
files I got the following error message:
[Chajims-PB:~/musixcmfolder] chajim% musixflx nonmoriar

... open <nonmoriar.mx1> for input

!!! Wrong version !!!

It is not clear to me what can be done to solve this problem so I hope
