Well, after having receiving a slew of emails and a flurry of resounding responses stating, "YES! Go for a truly memorable and unique trip to Palmito Cave and the Bustamante area!", I talked it over with my wife and kids and they sound gung ho to visit Palmito this Christmas.
My late wife's parents winter in the Harlingen area, so we would probably visit them and then venture to Bustamante. I would like to solicit my fellow CaveTex-ers for any tips, suggestions, map of the cave, other sites to see, or anything else that could help us out to help insure a safe, memorable, fun, and hopefully, a hassle free (or as close as possible) trip south of the Border.
