I would like to solicit my fellow CaveTex-ers for any tips, suggestions, map of the cave, other sites to see,

I have 2 suggestions:

1) Go to the Mexico page on the TSA web site. There are maps and other information and an article I wrote about a hundred years ago regarding the Bustamante area.

2) Always keep in mind that Mexico has States, just like the United States has States. When writing about one of the several towns named Bustamante in Mexico and you want to distinguish it from the town of Bustamante in Texas or one of the others in Mexico, you will need to simply use the State name after it. Just as we use Bustamante, TX, it is necessary to use Bustamante, NL to be clear of which Bustamante is being referenced. Additionally, to say Bustamante, Mex is as non-standard as saying Austin, USA. See the problem here? There are lots of Austins in the US and there are lots of Bustamantes in Mexico. But even if there were a town with a unique name in either country, to not include the State before adding USA or Mexico adds confusion, not clarity.

Good reading--and have a good trip,
