switch sparking:

1. Load spark. When your light switch is off, itattempts to jump from one 
contact to another. However, since there’s not enoughvoltage for the current to 
flow, the current is extinguished, thus resulting insparking.

Solution: You don’t have to worry about this.

2. Worn-out contacts. When one of the contacts isworn out due to age and use, 
the switch sparks.

Solution: You need to replace the switch.
