ANIMAL SACRIFICE DISCUSSION

The ire of YMji is quite understandable. Because he is far away from
animals and killing for any ecological purpose, he is able to express his
ire. But animal killing animal, man killing man, animal killing man are
all-natural phenomenon. Is there any place where tree leaves are not
falling or branches gets cut down naturally? Bleeding human is horrible
and cruel but bleeding women is cherished who undergo pain in all!! Could
you stop your wife and daughter and mother from picking flower from plants
which could also be killing the plants. Thus, we cherish as good what suits
us but criticises when we don’t do that or incapable off doing all of them.
We weigh according to our convenience. That is why non vegetarians gullibly
argue that, plants have life so why pluck vegetables and consume and is
that not an act of killing. TAKING AWAY LIFE is killing. No one has that
right law says only wrt the scheduled objects and leave out the rest
striding away. This is neither in support of nor holding it as right; but
nature kills; floods kill; dryness kills; heat kills; cold kills; breeze
kills; and so, it is in the nature to kill humans and the rest; and in turn
human kills one below; King kills one below; Peon kills the temporary
worker. Man man- slaughter and kills; man hits his wife and women and act
as good but, kills. Abusing one is killing. Nature always treats the less
powerful as its prey literally or indirectly, as licence poet to call
anything as correct.

Thus, lets imagine that, NO ANIMAL OR PLANTS ARE AFFECTED EVEN ON THE
FLOORS OF THE EARTH THEY ARE LYING AS THEY HAVE LIFE, then, as they grow so
fast, we will have to move away to the mountains, giving the space for
them; and as we are not touching anything, all dead stink. So, then we will
say to clear out all bad odours. The Artha sastra advocates that for a
cause a village can be sacrificed. So certain acts of death in the nature
in all species are inevitable. Even Vedas have not denied it which speaks
about the non-consumption of liquor and animals. In Aswamedha yagnam we
sacrifice the horse. Poring butte is also a kind of life sacrifice only
Hence only Jains are enforcing such strong sweeping the floor while
walking, lest small insects even do die. We can approach the issue with the
minimum needs, but how to define that Yardstick-Minimum needs?

While it's undoubtedly distressing to contemplate, there are
scenarios where the killing of animals is unavoidable. Here's a nuanced
argument:

1. One of the most significant reasons for animal killing is food
production. Meat, dairy, and other animal products are staples in many
diets worldwide. While efforts to promote plant-based diets can reduce the
demand for animal products, it's unrealistic to expect the entire global
population to switch overnight. Therefore, to meet current demand, animals
must be raised and slaughtered for food.

2. In certain situations, killing animals may be necessary for
self-defense or public safety. For example, if an animal poses an imminent
threat to human life or property, such as in cases of aggressive wild
animals or disease-carrying pests, euthanasia or other lethal measures may
be required. Can we allow the mosquito annoyance and bites?

3. While controversial, animal testing has contributed to significant
medical advancements. Pharmaceutical companies often conduct tests on
animals to ensure the safety and efficacy of new drugs before they are
approved for human use. While efforts are made to minimize harm to animals
and explore alternative testing methods, some level of animal testing
remains necessary for medical progress. How to test the drug?

4. In some cases, culling or controlling animal populations is necessary
for ecological balance. Overpopulation of certain species can lead to
environmental degradation, loss of biodiversity, and harm to other species.
Hunting or culling programs may be implemented to manage wildlife
populations and maintain ecosystem health.

5. Despite our best efforts to avoid it, animals are sometimes
inadvertently harmed or killed in accidents, such as collisions with
vehicles or industrial machinery. While these instances are regrettable,
they are often unintentional and not driven by malice.

While these arguments highlight scenarios where animal killing may be
unavoidable, it's essential to prioritize ethical treatment and minimize
harm whenever possible. This includes implementing humane farming
practices, developing alternative testing methods, promoting wildlife
conservation efforts, and improving infrastructure to reduce accidents
involving animals. Ultimately, striving for a balance between human needs
and animal welfare is crucial in addressing the complexities of animal
killing in various contexts K Rajaram IRS 7524
