Immanuel Kant, a prominent18th-century philosopher, formulated one of the most

become a universallaw, one must ask: "Can I consistently will that everyone 
follows thisrule without contradiction?" A QUESTION WHERE THE PRINCIPLE FOR

the test of universalizabilityand cannot be morally acceptable. Conversely, a 
maxim like "One shouldkeep promises" can be universally willed without 
contradiction, as itsupports a foundation of trust and reliability essential 
for societal functioning.So Hinduism in Sanskrit and Tirukkural in Tamil, said 
as A LIE AS IF THE TRUTH;ONE MUST NOT LIE 100%; BUT ASWATTAMA HATHA KUNJARA: IS 
NOT BAD OR IRRELEVANT.Satyan vadha is fundamental; but may bend a little for 
the maintenance ofdharma. Principle of the universality. 

         Kantian ethics places a strongemphasis on rationality and autonomy. 
Rational agents, according to Kant, arecapable of recognizing and acting upon 
universal moral laws. This capacity forrationality distinguishes moral actions 
from mere inclinations or desires. Byacting according to maxims that can be 
universalized, individuals exercisetheir rational autonomy, respecting 
themselves and others as ends in themselvesrather than as means to an end.  
Neverbending the dharma; altering the way of life according to the needs, 
within thefour walls of the sanathana Dharma. I kill men and animals, and the 
action isan act of HIM only and not mine way of life; no sin does occur to 
such. Nopunyam also.  

        For Kant, the moral worth of an actionis determined not by its 
consequences but by the intention behind it. Actionsperformed out of a sense of 
duty, guided by the Categorical Imperative, possesstrue moral value. This 
perspective contrasts sharply with consequentialisttheories like 
utilitarianism, which evaluate the morality of actions based ontheir outcomes.  
Kant argues that theonly unconditionally good thing is a "good will"—the 
resolve to actaccording to moral principles for their own sake. When 
individuals act fromduty, motivated by respect for the moral law, they embody 
the good will. This intrinsicmotivation ensures that actions are morally
