For me, COD and Gears would be rentals or wait until I found at 'em a
pawn shop for about 30 apiece. The new COD, from what I have seen,
does not look as good as COD4. I had an absolute blast with that game.
It took me back to the first time I played the original Unreal
Tournament. I am waiting for the next COD to be made by the same folks
that did COD4...there are rumors we are going to get a Sci-Fi-ish
COD...YAY!

Gears I could never get into. Story was interesting, graphics were
real pretty, but just never could get into like most folks did, kind
of like Halo...I was "meh" on that one too. I guess I got really,
really spoiled with Half-Life 1 and 2 and I compare so much to it now.
Bioshock is up there for me too.

The best thing is, whatever you decide to get...the other 2 or 3 games
you want will still be waiting on you. I just traded a bunch of my 360
games away and after Fallout 3 I have MGS4, Uncharted, Little Big
Planet, Resistance 2, and more Rock Band 2 to play...no shortage of
awesome games right now...YAY!

Enjoy
