Good idea to discuss. Overall I'm enjoying this season. I like all the new dressing (i.e. the TARDIS redesign, Matt Smith, new opening credits, new sonic screwdriver, etc). I really like Amy. I think if this was the first season of Doctor Who (rather than the 5th), we'd all be head-over-heels for Amy like we were for Rose. Amy is a really strong and fun character. I hope she hangs around for a few more seasons.
I think "Eleventh Hour" was the strongest start for any new Doctor ever. Fantastic episode! My favorite of the season.
"The Beast Below" felt like a left-over David Tennant script to me. It was fine, but didn't blow me away.
The Dalek episode was a mess. I enjoyed every scene that the Daleks were not in. I also enjoyed the planes in space shooting the Dalek ship (felt very RTD). However, the ending was ridiculous. I'm pretty sure that will all get un-done at the end of the season with the "cracks in the universe".
The first part of the Angel storyline was really strong. The second part was somewhat meh. I liked some concepts like the religious army, River Song's crime, and that any recording of an Angel is an Angel. However, "Blink" was so perfect, I think they should have just left this alone. Doctor Who does the same thing Star Trek does... they take all their coolest villains and overuse them and make them less scary. I was ticked when we actually saw the Angel turn it's head. We're not supposed to see them move!
As an aside, there are some theories online about the second Angel episode that perhaps there was another Matt Smith/Doctor running around from the future in that episode. There are some scenes that are inconsistent with his jacket on-and-off, along with some references to a discussion the Doctor had with Amy when she was 7 years old. It's possible that the Matt Smith/Doctor from later in the season came back in time to this episode to give Amy information. Check it out and you'll see what they are talking about.
I didn't care for the Vampires in Venice episode at all. I actually fell asleep during it. Had to re-watch it. There was some really good humor in this episode, but that was it for me.
"Amy's Choice" was great! Loved it. Won't say any more since it hasn't aired on BBC America yet.
"The Hungry Earth" was also very good. Haven't watched "Cold Blood" yet.

So, we are about halfway through the new season (at least by BBC America's
schedule) with a new Doctor and there has not been a whole lot of
discussion here about it.
Personally, I've been let down. Don't get me wrong, I actually like Matt
Smith's Doctor, a lot. However, and maybe I had high expectations with
Davies no longer at the helm, I haven't found a really good episode yet
this season. Most of them have been sort of bland, in my opinion. I think
the only episode I have found as my favorite this season was The Beast
Below. Victory of the Daleks was sort of okay but I thought the last 10
minutes was pretty bad. The Time of the Angels was really good but the
second part, Flesh and Stone, was a bit of a disappointment.
What say you?
