Acrobatic Flea - Wow. Nicely written. Even though I'm enjoying this season, I'm finding myself agreeing with a lot of your points. My primary enjoyment comes from the lead actors, not necessarily the stories. Some of the best episodes this season are: Eleventh Hour, Amy's Choice, and Cold Blood.
I will disagree on one point... the new TARDIS. I think it's gorgeous! I love all the copper panels, the glass floors, the staircases and the ridiculous bits on the console. I don't see why the inexplicable bits on Matt Smith's console are any less acceptable than the inexplicable bits on Eccelston's console. Now if we get down to comparing console rooms, my favorite by far was Paul McGann's console room from the Fox TV movie in 1996. Very Jules Verne. Loved it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the season finale. I'm sure it will involve the return of the "skittles" Daleks. Hopefully they'll fall in a crack in time and never have existed. We'll get our usual gold Daleks back. Fingers crossed. Geronimo!
