I searched but didn't see we discussed this movie yet. I finally saw
Sucker Punch this past weekend.
**Possible Spoilers**

Overall, I thought it was a pretty decent movie. It had some really good
action and great visual effects. The soundtrack totally kicked ass; I just
bought it on Amazon and am listening to it now. However, thinking about
it, most of the movie seemed like a music video stretched out, because of
all the slow motion, to 2 hours.
I plan on seeing it again when it comes out on DVD to reevaluate.

On the subject of slow motion in movies: Like 3D, I am getting really sick
and tired of the over use of slow motion in movies. Unfortunately, I
rented Resident Evil: Afterlife on Netflix and noticed how, it seemed, an
hours worth of the hour and half film was in slow motion. In my opinion,
that is just cheap and lazy movie making. If they had sped up all the
action sequences in that movie it probably would have actually been an
hour long movie. I'm glad I didn't pay full price at the theaters for that
movie.
I paid matinee price ($8.50) on Sucker Punch so not too much money was
wasted on the slow motion sequences there.
