The Death and Life of Superman is a great book. More than anything it boils down that era of Superman into one convenient novel. What a great read. I am looking forward to getting to that era on FCTC as well.
I will suggest that you pick up Denny O'Neil's KNIGHTFALL novelization as well. It is a fantastic book as well.
