Unfortunately, on the way to Best Buy to actually buy the TV, my iPhone 3Gs 
died.  Just up and died, dead as a doornail, whatever that is.
 
Hilarious thing that's actually not really very funny:  Back in 2010 when I 
got the phone, I bought the extended warranty for $50 extra, which took the 
warranty out to two years from purchase.  The warranty expired on June 18.  
The phone expired on June 20.
 
So now I have to cough up another hundred bucks for an iPhone 4.  And I'll 
still be one model behind the current model.  (Can't really afford $200 for 
a 4Gs right now, especially with the new TV!)  When the 5 comes out, I'll 
be a dinosaur again.
 
This modern high-tech lifestyle is expensive, y'all!
