Check around- you might still be able to get a 3GS on contract free. The 4 is a 
superior handset in just about every way (I stuck with it instead of opting for 
the 4S). The 5 is rumored to be coming out in September, if there's any way you 
can hold out til then you might be able to pick up a 4 free with contract. What 
cell service do you have? I might have a handset I can loan you for a few 
months.
