Ravenface, I agree with you on pretty much all points. A good friend of
mine in high school worked (it seemed like forever) at Blockbuster. I knew
the place was bad when he said one of his favorite tasks was cleaning up
the parking lot and sweeping up all of the used codoms stuffed back inside
their foils. When that task is preferrable over working inside the store,
I think the writing is pretty much on the wall at that point.

About the only thing Blockbuster was ever good for was when they would
clear out movies for a few bucks a piece -- made buying gifts for my mother
in law (who seemingly just buys movies without rhyme or reason) easier.

I do want to ask you something, though -- Wrestlemania III Battle Royal? I
think you mean Wrestlemania 2's Battle Royal, which featured stars of both
the WWF and NFL and was won by Andre The Giant, and was pretty awful. The
only Battle Royal associated with WMIII was the one on Saturday Night's
Main Event from a few months before the show, which featured the in-ring
debut of Andre as a heel -- a very memorable match and one of the most
famous TV matches from the era.

Other than that though -- Boo! Hiss! Blockbuster sucks and has sucked for
years!
