I think "superior" is a really strong word to describe Blockbuster. I've been a member of Netflix since 2003, long before streaming came along, and Netflix has always had a much better selection of movies than Blockbuster, 10 times better selection and 5 times better service. I'm pretty sure the market saw a decline in Blockbuster as soon as Netflix came along so many years ago.
