I saw this last night. I thought it was pretty good, but I don't know that
I would seek it out to watch it again, much like how I felt with Trek '09.

The action was good, the characters mostly ran true, and I liked how it
tried to be grounded in the early stages (shades of Skyfall there). I
liked the Klingons as well. But parts of it felt a little flat and there
was too much re-engineered (thanks Shag) plot points from other Star Trek.
Introducing Carol Marcus felt really forced, for instance.

I figured out the twist, but I have a history of doing that so no harm no
foul on the creative team. To be honest I would have preferred Gary
Mitchell but you can't win em all.

Not a bad diversion for 2 hours, but I can see how Iron Man 3 easily
outsold and outreviewed this movie.
