Oddball development over the past week -- random apps on my TouchPad have stopped working. Comic Shelf, Kindle, and Adobe all will launch, but then sit at their loading screen indefinitely, never launching properly. Not sure if this is because support is being cut off for them, or if the WebOS OS is just starting to get wonky. So this means that a lot of the apps I use are no longer functional. There is of course nothing from HP as they have stopped supporting WebOS, even closing down the store.
While doing some research I discovered that loading Android onto the TouchPad has become substantially easier through the development of toolkits which do most of the previously more involved work for you. So it looks like I may be taking that step in the near future. I have a cheapie Android tablet, but the Touchpad is much nicer, with a bigger, brighter screen and more solid construction.
