Almost no experience with Android (I’m a very happy member of Apple’s Evil
Empire) but VLC is the best multimedia app I’ve used on any OS. It plays
everything and is surprisingly powerful. As for comics I was using ComiXology
until Amazon removed the ability to buy stuff through the app (although it’s
likely still there for Android). If you wanted something to load your own
downloaded comics into (PDF or CBZ files) I’d say give Comic Zeal a look. I’ve
used it in the past and was happy with it, and it loos like they’ve made some
serious improvements.
