I sent my T43p to EasyServe on Friday December 19, the weekend before Christmas 2008. I was 3 months from the end of my 3 year warranty, so I listed every problem the Thinkpad had, especially power problems which prevented me from using the laptop. When I called EasyServe Thursday evening, they suggested that I leave all components in the laptop so that they could verify that everything was working correctly and would not be left wondering if a removed component was the cause if some of the problems could not be resolved. (I only removed the second 1GB ram stick.) The shipping box arrived the next day around noon and my laptop went out late Friday afternoon. I received the laptop back early Tuesday morning (2 days before Christmas) with the power problem completely resovled and a new 1600X1200 screen. EasyServe also called back to ask if all the problems had been resolved and if I was satisfied with their service. I had extraordinarily good service compared to the warranty hassles I have experienced with all kinds of other products. I hope your experience will be as satisfactory. Good luck. max
