Why do you need to know anything about specific hard drives. If it is an ATA, PATA, ATA6, IDE or EIDE laptop hard drive, it will work... all you have to decide is the speed: 4200 rpm, 5400 rpm, or 7200
The problem is with T43, where most drives over 40 GB will not work, and some drives of 20, 30, and 40 GB will not work without an error message that can be ignored. - - - - - Last, but not least, avoid clichés like the plague. ... .... ..... ...... .......
