It's the first one on that list: Graphics Processing Unit. It does the 2D
and 3D accelerated graphics.

BTW, one thing you might try before replacing the fan: Take a can of
dust-off or equivalent and blow it into all the fan vents so it clears out
the dust and spins up the fan. Sometimes it's just a dust buildup that
causes noise like this. This cleaning is a good bit of preventative
maintenance to do once in a while.
