Update: I got a new replacement keyboard shipped directly from Lenovo
from their online services and shipped in day (at the same price under
50 dollars, but paid extra for the shipping). First time at replacing
it, went smooth (but the top keyboard frame is not an exact fit, I see
a very tiny gap around .5mm above the power button and the outer frame).
Love the new keyboard, its a lot more solid and firmer than my original
t400 keyboard but which I think is bit softer.

Back to cleaning my old keyboard, can I just use the distilled water
sold in grocery store? I already got a 99% bottle of isopropyl alcohol,
will get another. Do I just soak it in distilled water for 30 mins and
then wash it down with alcohol or any other way?

Found a nice technique here:

Guess I could have used it before ordering the new keyboard :-P

Cheers,
Anand
