VLC won't have any Protected Content issues. What's going on is that video
is done with a Video Overlay, which is done at another point in the graphics
pipeline, beyond where screen mirroring is. You need to not mirror, but set
the S-Video out to extend the windows desktop, move the video player onto
that monitor, then play. Either that, or use only S-Video.
