Well it seems that update is included in SP3 when i looked
at the page for that KB number.
So no joy there as SP3 already installed on the Thinkpad

Couldn't tell by the link remnants posted if that was the one you already had.
I needed to add that one to my son's now demised T41 to get
something wifi related to work a long time ago.
By the way, the reball place, cough(GPUMedics)cough(r&tb&st&rd) I
located awhile ago, did nothing but steal my dough, and I had to go
out there to retrieve my laptop by pulling it off the guy's workbench.

It says that it only works on service pack 1 and i have service pack 2
installed.
Presumably SP2 has the WPA update already installed
