Hello,

I found a couple of web sites which appaear to provide accurate information
about electrical plugs around the world:

Kropla - <http://www.kropla.com/electric2.htm> (may have heard about this here)
ElecticalOutlet - <http://www.electricaloutlet.org/>

The information seems correct, as far as I can tell, but I'm not an electrician
or electrical engineer.

I have always felt it best to get an AC power line cord locally that meets
all of the regulations when I visit a foreign company for an extended stay
(or, at least, more than a couple of days). That said, I keep both an APC
UniversalPlug travel adapter and Targus ISP4 surge protector (which plugs
between the line cord and my ThinkPad's power adapter) in my ThinkPack. I
don't think either is manufactured any longer, but they are available online.

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky

I'll be traveling to the UK next month. Anyone know what I'll need to get
power to my T61p while there? I currently have both the 90w standard AC
adapter and the travel adapter. Will a converter that I can buy at
Brookstone or a store specializing in travel accessories work?

Thanks!
