I did order the IPS, the status is Submitted with estimated ship date
of June 28. When I get it I'll report in.

I understand there's also an issue with some X220s that won't
recognize an SSD drive in place of the WWAN. I wasn't planning to get
either but now I'm intrigued. :) Official word is this is supposed to
be fixed in a BIOS update by end July.
