The problem with those is that they typically use cells of standard
capacity whereas Lenovo typically uses high-capacity (e.g. 2.6Ah) cells.
I.e. for 9-cells, Lenovo gives you 7.8Ah batteries whereas third partys
tend to use the much cheaper 2.2Ah cells (resulting in only 6.6Ah
battery). And sadly, third-party vendors tend to mis-advertise (and
even mis-label) their batteries.
For some machines, this is not a problem. E.g. Lenovo used 2.2Ah cells
for my X30's batteries, so third party batteries worked just as well,
while being much cheaper.
