Everything was working fine until Google apparently stealthily installed new code and now some Chrome Print Preview function tries to run and crashes almost every time on a color image. The problem is it consumes all the RAM -- over 1 gb -- so all the memory swapping goes to the hard drive which spins constantly until something times out a few minutes later and the program crashes. In the meantime the T43 is unusable.
On the Google Chrome site I can find ways only to disable Print Preview (which would be good were it to work) but no hints on how to configure its memory usage. Is there anything to be done on my T43 as a workaround for limiting program access to memory? Or do I just have to stop using Chrome? jeffrey race _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
