Hello,

Have you checked to see if you can download the older, working version and
then disable the auto-update option? I do not use Google Chrome myself, so
do not know if this particular functionality is available for sure, but it
seems reasonable to assume the company would add it precisely for situations
like this one.

Everything was working fine until Google apparently
stealthily installed new code and now some Chrome
Print Preview function tries to run and crashes
almost every time on a color image. The problem is
it consumes all the RAM -- over 1 gb -- so all the
memory swapping goes to the hard drive which spins
constantly until something times out a few minutes
later and the program crashes. In the meantime
the T43 is unusable.

On the Google Chrome site I can find ways only
to disable Print Preview (which would be good were
it to work) but no hints on how to configure its
memory usage. Is there anything to be done on my
T43 as a workaround for limiting program access to
memory? Or do I just have to stop using Chrome?
