Jeffrey: If you go to chrome://plugins/ and disable Chrome pdf viewer, that will turn off print preview. Of course that will also turn off pdf viewing.
I don't get the same memory problem when I run Chrome and do print previews. There may be something broken in your installation. You might try uninstalling and reinstalling. _________________________________ Robert Rosen Chief Information Officer National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases National Institutes of Health US Department of Health & Human Services E-Mail: [email protected] NIAMS 25th Anniversary: Improving Lives Through Discovery Please consider the environment before printing this e-mail -----Original Message----- >Message: 5 >Date: Thu, 01 Sep 2011 08:33:17 -0700 >From: "Jeffrey Race" <[email protected]> >Subject: [Thinkpad] T43 memory issue with Chrome Print Preview >To: "Thinkpad Users Group" <[email protected]> >Everything was working fine until Google apparently stealthily installed new >code and now some Chrome Print Preview function tries >to run and crashes >almost every time on a color image.
