T61/p generation suffers from *very* high
failure rate of nVidia graphic cards. If you
choose to go with T61, make sure it's got Intel integrated graphics...
yes that thought did cross my mind but surely an
older laptop that still works with a Nvidia gfx card has been thoroughly
tested by now?
You can also get WSXGA+ on newer machines such as T500 and W500.
Newer means more expensive and out of my range :(
