It's quite possible that it simply wasn't subjected to enough
heating/cooling cylces to induce failure.
Make no mistake about it: the NVIDIA GPUs in the T61s *will* fail. It's
just a question of when.
Ok thanks for the response.
I will bear it in mind when looking but there are slim pickings already so
I might have to get one with Nvidia quadra gfx after all :(
