Yep. We got a T60p with 1680x1050 for my daughter and my wife has a T61p with 1920x1200. Both are 15.x inch screens and have outstanding displays. Given the crap I have to use at work these days (an HP with a 13.x" 1366x768 screen) I envy the wife's laptop every time I use it.

The T6x lineup should be able to be had for reasonable prices these days.

Or you can by my old A21p with 1600x1200 15" flexview display... :-)

You can find a T60p, as well as Z61m with WSXGA+ (1680x1050) screens.

T61/p generation suffers from *very* high failure rate of nVidia graphic cards.
If you choose to go with T61, make sure it's got Intel integrated graphics...

You can also get WSXGA+ on newer machines such as T500 and W500.

Happy hunting.

Subject: [Thinkpad] Maybe a T61 would be better screen height wise?

Hello,
I am struggling to find a Lenovo laptop second hand on-line which has
  decent screen
eight.
originally looked for only 4 by 3 but the maximum resolution seem
ow at 1024x800
n a 15" which was present on the T60.
I have started looking for a t61 which are unfortunately widescreen
ut look like they
ave some 16:10 screens. The resolution is 1680x1050 on a 15" screen.
Would this 15" t61 but a decent bet?
