I concur.  Microsoft added some kind of new feature to hotmail, and
both my hotmail accounts were having a problem.  I manually logged
into each account clearning the message for each, and Thunderbird
started reading emails again.  However, sending is a problem.  I have
to log into hotmail directly to send or reply.

I have what appears to be the latest webmail (1.3.3b3) and webmail
hotmail (1.2.21).

Hopefully... someone comes up with a patch soon.....
