Hi, I was trying to figure out how to get hotmail messages to Thunderbird with the new Pop3 when I came across your post. I got it to work following these instructions. Hope this helps.

So again, tutorial seems straightforward enough (I too tried other tutorials without any luck, so this should definitely help you). By the way, the Pop3 is great, with webmail, it took a few minutes just to download a few messages, and if they had attachments, sometimes thunderbird would crash. But now, it only takes 2-3 seconds to download 10 emails. Its great!!
