If you are viewing your email via Firefox before you trying to
download, they are probably being marked as read on the server. If so
you would need to re-mark them as "unread" in order for TB to download
them. You will need to also check your Gmail server settings in TB and
enable download new messages and get messages at start-up if these are
not already enabled.
