You're right about the confusion . The reason is that until I got my Thunderbird settings right, my attamepts to e-mail from my Btinternet address kept getting rejected for incorrect username/password by the Yahoo mail server. Hence, I thought this was a problem with Thunderbird talking to Yahoo.
