Just forgot to mention the obvious. - You can download the upgrader and use it offline. Top right is the << chevron, which will open the right sidebar. If you click the "Save" button it will download a file named "upgrade". You can rename it to eg: x.html and open it. ... The rest is the same as with the "online" version. BUT *do _not_ use the upgrader as a starting wiki.* It contains a huge (16 MByte) upgrader plugin, that contains the new core and every existing "core plugin".
