Having to open a separate tab, possibly signing in with a new login, searching on a different platform -- that appears to be a BIG speed bump for a lot of people. There was a study a few years ago that said that people would rather clean their toilets than create yet another new login.
But it's important that the process not be TOO easy. We saw what happened when it became easy for people to mark threads "completed" or to add ad-hoc "tags". A small speed bump will mean that people will be somewhat committed to the contents of a particular post or thread before creating the entry. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
