I'm using Kubuntu Karmic 9.10 64-bit and Opera 10.10 with tiddlysaver.jar in the folder with the empty.html file. I have a vanilla set up, and Opera seems to work for everything just fine. I had to grant permission for the Java applet the first time I tried loading the empty TiddlyWiki. It takes forever to load the file. I can also hit the cancel (the red X that changes to the reload circle/ arrow when a page is done loading) and it pops up quickly. Either way, I can edit the page but it is impossible to save my changes. I get the error: JavaScript <localhost> Failed to save main TiddlyWiki file. Your changes have not been saved. I've spent over an hour, re-extracting empty.htm and tiddlysaver.jar to different locations and reading every post I can find anywhere.
