Hi Mario

I haven't thought too far with the "superwide TiddlyWiki" idea (I
gather that is where you are heading)...hoping there is a more subtle
way to do it.

With the superwide idea it would be simple to create a TiddlyWiki with
a wide sideBar (the width of the data show) and a mainMenu and display
that takes up the whole of the laptop window. I guess the mainMenu
has navagation information, the main display has the tiddler that has
the notes/information. The notes tiddler also have a bit of script
that sets a config.option variable. Then Sidebar displays a tiddler
using the config.option variable (can force refresh of the sideBar in
PageTemplate).

I guess I could even play around with two sidebars showing up on the
datashow......(which I image is to the right...not sure why)

The combinations are interesting...even wondering if it would be
possible to input the laptop and datashow widths (different datashows
have different resolution capabilities) on start up, and have a simple
script reset the widths of the various components (mainmenu, display
area, sidebar....). I do use something like this with a simple
slideshow, where I have ImageSizePlugin (Eric) and use a config.option
calculation to reset the size of the images in the Paulos
SlideShowPlugin...depending on the resolution of the datashow.

This question of datashow resolution is important to me......a number
of times I have created a presentation for one resolution and then got
stuck with a dtashow with a different resolution....so the whole thing
gets re formated....generally only minutes before the presentation is
due to start !!!!!!

Anyway...any ideas are welcome.......and I keep hoping someone knows
how to have two TWs "talk" to each other....could have interesting
implications if it can be done.

Thanks
Skye
