I think a fresh and light TW at TW.com would be good - something that looks like something a newbie can produce in an hour or two of first meeting TW. The speed of getting started and the ease of linking content is, for me, the main features that TW has to offer.
Also I wonder if including basic Wiki syntax the downloaded TW. In GettingStarted? That way each TW would have some cut and pastable code to experiment with. It could have a few external links to TiddlySpace documentation too.
