BooHooHoo !!! Now I'm seriously stuck. The situation got MUCH worse. Whereas before, I could reach, edit & save my TW online from home, now that has quit on me as well.
I added the zzConfig (tagged with systemConfig) tiddler detailed by Måns, and right about the same time my hosting provider did a server change to avoid a failing HDD - and it all went to pot. Now, even at home the backstage shows, as well as the editing/saving functions - but when I hit 'save to web', the only entry I get is this one: "About to upload on http://...(site details)" And there it stays no matter how long I wait. I can use the hosting's cPanel file manager to copy in a backed-up version from before the added tiddler, and it changes nothing. So I am really stuck and have no clue how to deal with this...any suggestions, please ?!? It was soooo great, and now...it's just like any other web-page...booohooohooo. mark On Sunday, March 17, 2013 11:52:57 PM UTC-5, smallhagrid wrote: > > I've got a great, online editable TW that saves fine to my hosting - just > what I've wanted for some time. > It works 100% perfectly from home. > -BUT-: > When I try using it from the office, where it is the same DSL provider 20 > miles from home, it loads my TW in read-only mode despite logging in just > the same way and all the saving functions are not even shown. > > When I try it via the local cable ISP, it also comes up in read-only mode. > > Does this mean it is somehow tied to a single browser, or location or a > cookie or something ?!? > > Would someone please help me=> Is there some way I can make this work > fully from these other places too ?!? > > Thanks. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
