I have fairly consistently created adaptations of TiddlyWiki to the present, and have been influential in the development of version 5.
There are no doubt a number of factors to what you perceive. Here are two: - People got their TiddlyWiki tweaked the way they wanted it, and started using it instead of tweaking it. - People got nervous about browser changes, which have plagued TiddlyWiki at times. There was a while in which I toyed with Evernote then OneNote, looking for tools that would not be dependent on browser whims and changing tides. Anyway, I have always found myself gravitating back to TW. It is for me a more flexible tool than Evernote and OneNote, in terms of getting it visually the way you want it, and using tags and hyperlinks to navigate it. The new version of TiddlyWiki, while still lacking a few things I used regularly in classic TW, is a wonderful step forward, and I am using it for notes, photo galleries and productivity every day.
