I use it like this:
<$list filter="[is[current]tag[Lektion1]]">
<$list filter="[is[current]next[Lektion1]]"/> / Forrige: <$list 
filter="[is[current]previous[Lektion1]]"/>
</$list>

Will it be possible to define/use a custom viewtemplate at some stage? - 
like:
$:/tags/LessonViewTemplate
