Oddly - I have come to think of this as a feature. If I drag tiddlers into my wiki I get to review to effect of doing so before commiting the changes. For example, I have several times accidentally over-written my site-title/sub-title/palette etc. tiddlers by drag and drop and been able to undo the changes.
Of course, there are other ways to deal with this issue and if it starts auto-saving in these circumstances, I won't be upset.
