That would have some knock-on effects: it's currently possible to close tiddlers directly in the "open" tab of the sidebar. Adding the special behaviour in both places would make things a good deal more complicated. Just going back to something I mentioned before: is this really such a big deal given that the browser will warn users if they try to close their wiki without saving changes in the control panel?
