There are many users, that want to do this. It was possible some years ago but all major browser vendors decided, that this behaviour is a security risk. So they disabled the possibility to upload data from a file:// URL to an http:// URL. ... This lock down made live much more difficult for us. > I would have loved to be able to follow the above answers, but I need > something more step-by-step. Dropbox would be possible to have "read only" public TWs. If you want to save to DP you need to edit on your device and let it sync with the public Dropbox folder using the DP drivers for your device. > *Background*: > I use chrome on all devices, one of which is a chromebook. But I think it can be done (eg > http://tw5toolbar.tiddlyspot.com/) > Yes it can be done. TW has no knowledge how to handle different bags in TS. I think nobody is investing the resources to implement TW plugins for TS because it's a "dead" platform. The servers are kept up and running, but that's it. There is no active development anymore.
